T-Ball Season Back Again

T-Ball is back... You'll have to ignore the neon green "jersey." I am pretty sure there was a sale on green shirts when these were ordered as I see a lot of green out on those t-ball fields. I am also not counting out the fact that it was just the person in charge of ordering... he doesn't have the greatest streak going for him... let me just say there was a season of varying shades of pink and purple soccer jerseys and NO -- they were not all girl teams. At least Drew likes his green attire. Also -- don't read into that White Sox hat... we were just assigned the team.
There is only Brewers love deep down!!!
So here is T-Ball game #1! This is what Daddy likes to call baseball ready!
I just love the expression in this one! :)

Good hit Drew!

"Where do we throw the ball again?" :)

Visit from the Easter Bunny and Egg Hunt

So the Easter Bunny made a very special visit to Grandpa and Grandma's house. Imagine the amazement when he just "hopped" right on into the backyard. The kids all took off running up the hill to see him.Pictures with the Easter Bunny!

A little later began one of the many Easter Egg Hunts. Seriously... how many times in one day can eggs be hidden and hunted until it gets out of hand? I think we reached that point! Madi and Drew had a great time looking and well... not looking and just running aimlessly -- that was Drew's enjoyment the second time around!

We really had a fun Easter this year in Wisconsin!!!

Easter Morning

Let the Easter Basket hunt begin... 'Tis the day it became clear why I often hear "I couldn't find it!" :)
Drew found his!!!

Madi found hers!!!

Picture time with Grandpa & Grandma!

So not an accurate depiction of these two. They are not this angelic! :)

Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice was quite the adventure. Needless to say... we were running later than planned due to unplanned car shopping. So we convinced Marty (who hates the thought of paying tolls mind you) to drive on the toll road to avoid downtown Austin. As we were reaching the end of the toll road and already in South Austin, I realized I forgot the tickets at home! One quick U-turn later... we were cancelling our dinner plans and headed North on the toll road back home to get the tickets. Quick stop to get tickets, trip through a drive thru for food and back on the toll road again. ~$14 in tolls later we made it to the south side of Austin and off the toll road. We managed to get to the Alamodome 10 minutes before the show started and that included getting dropped off at the door. Oh... but the adventure did not end there. We get in the arena area and there are people in our seats. Whoever the brainiac was that labeled the rows R10 and 10 needs to be fired!!! After getting the others to their correct seats, we were pretty much home free. The kiddos were very mesmerized... Marty and I were in complete shock of the food prices and we managed to get back home toll free. All in all a very good time and a night we will more than likely never forget! Nice blue mouth Madi! :)
Drew completely mesmerized!

Happy St. Patricks Day

When I was growing up St. Patrick's Day meant green pancakes and green milk. Good thing Grandma & Grandpa were here this year to kick me into gear and actually do this with Madi and Drew as I have been meaning to for a couple of years. Here are the kiddos with their festive green breakfast!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

While Grandpa & Grandma were visiting... we were able to celebrate Grandma's birthday with her. Very good friends of our family from all the way back to the days when I was little were able to visit us too. We went out to the Oasis to celebrate. It was a gorgeous March day which was well due after the oddly long and cool winter here. What a great time we had!
